Accredited testing laboratory
Chemicals acquired state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and established an independent testing laboratory for road construction and building materials in Tbilisi.
The laboratory is equipped with 45 core instruments from Europe’s Hira and Controls Group, operates under the ISO/IEC 17025 standard and is accredited by the Georgian Accreditation Centre. It performs more than 80 general and advanced tests on asphalt concrete, bitumen and emulsions, concrete and other construction materials.
The laboratory also studies how imported products combine with local materials and designs mix formulas: emulsion compositions, bitumen modification, asphalt and concrete mixes.
