In August 2017, WT Group acquired the former Shahin school-lyceum building in Batumi.
After studying the education sector in the Adjara region — specifically the private secondary school segment — the company decided to establish a modern educational institution in Batumi. A new private and summer school opened on the site in 2018.
The school’s summer programme helps attract students from Georgia’s regions and from abroad — another step toward developing educational tourism in Adjara.
