On 1 October 2018, the Georgian-American School of Batumi was ceremonially opened.
The ceremony was attended by the school’s founders — Mr Levan Gogia, director of WT Group, and Mr Suleiman Chikhladze, director of partner company Time Service; Ms Inga Shamilishvili, Minister of Education, Culture and Sport of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara; and Mr Genadi Margvelashvili, First Deputy Chair of the Georgian Parliament’s Committee on Education, Science and Culture.
Also present were Member of Parliament Mr Archil Khabadze, board members of the Union of Olympian Mathematicians of Georgia and other guests of honour.
