GCG LLC (Georgian Construction Group) was founded in 2014 with the support of WT Group and its partners.
The company’s core activities are:
- Production of premium-quality asphalt
- Highway and road construction
- Rehabilitation of road infrastructure
- Road machinery services
GCG operates a modern production and technology base in the village of Vaziani, Gardabani district, on a 27,000 m² site. The base houses a German Benninghoven ECO 2000 asphalt plant, which lets the company produce top-quality asphalt to international standards.
Environmental and social policy is a priority: employee health and safety standards fully comply with international requirements. GCG continuously invests in staff qualifications and runs training sessions with representatives of its international partners.
Bitumen emulsion plant
In 2007 WT Group acquired a Danish bitumen emulsion plant, which today operates within GCG. The plant is equipped to international standards, delivers high output and quality, and has held a leading position on the Georgian market since its founding.
Bitumen emulsion is used in the rehabilitation of asphalt-concrete road surfaces through cold recycling and surface treatment. The plant is supported by dedicated road machinery:
- Robuste Kaiser surface-treatment unit
- A 29-tonne thermal bitumen emulsion transporter
- A 12-tonne bitumen emulsion sprayer
